Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between clients and technical teams. The candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and documenting functional specifications to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of IT systems and processes.

Role & responsibilities

• Interact with clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

• Create detailed BRDs, FRDs, SRS, use cases, and user stories.

• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure project alignment.

• Conduct gap analysis and propose effective solutions to business problems.

• Develop process flow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to support requirement clarity.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups) as required.

• Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios and validating outcomes.

• Ensure all documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive project success.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software development projects.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, Trello.

• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis for requirement validation (preferred).

• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
